Description
Arctostaphylos uva-ursi - Also known as “bearberry”, Kinnikinnick is a low growing, spreading evergreen groundcover with a moderate growth rate. It has white-light pink bell-shaped flowers that are followed by red berries that last into winter. It prefers full sun and moist to dry soils. It is a good choice for erosion control and provides food for birds and small animals. Berries are edible and plant has interesting historical uses. $3 per 3.5 inch pot.
